Monsalvat Spring Festival

I went to Monsalvat - it's just around the corner from my house. It has really old looking buildings and lovely gardens! They had lots of different types of local wines, beers, & food for people to taste. I couldn't taste any of the wines or beers, Mummy & Daddy enjoyed tasting them though - they were very happy afterwards!!

At least I got to taste some of organic sugar-free date scones - mmm, they were yummy! Mummy couldn't resist so she bought some!!

There were also lots of art on display too!

They had baby farm animals for people to pat and feed!

Eltham Miniature Railway

Today I went with my Mummy, Daddy, Great Grandad & my Nanna on the miniature trains in Eltham. We had lots of fun!!

I liked the scenery...

...the only thing I didn't like was the tunnels - I was a bit scared, I held on to daddy really tight when I went through them. I didn't cry, but when we got out of the tunnels, Mummy saw that I had watery eyes!!

I like to go really fast on my car. I get Mummy or Daddy to push me around on it! My car is so cool the seat lifts up and I can put my toys in there and it has buttons to press - I like buttons!

Changing Channels.

I know how turn the TV on and off, and even change the channels!! I've been watching Mummy & Daddy do it, so I wanted to do it too!

Happy 1st Birthday Harper!!

Today is my friend Harper's 1st birthday! I went to his birthday party! We had lunch with all our friends at Harper's place.
This is Harper with his Aunty and cousins. We all sang happy birthday to him and all his cousins got to blow out the candle - to help him of course!!

Jess is turning 1 next week!! She does the same thing as me - we like to spin around on our bottoms!!

My 12 month health check up.

On Monday, I had my 12 month check up with my Maternal Child Health Nurse.
I weigh 8.59kg - not much since my last weigh-in at my 8 month check up. But thats ok, my nurse said that I am so active that I just burn up all my calories - and I even eat like a horse!!
I am now 74cm taller!! - I have grown 8cm since my last check up!! Wow!! The nurse had to measure me twice just to make sure she was right the first time - she couldn't believe it, neither could Mummy!!
My head circumference is 44.5cm - a centimetre bigger than last time!

My Nanna gave me this shirt for my birthday - it says alot about me!! It read's I came, I saw, I destroyed!!

On Monday, I went to Grandad's & Gran's place for dinner to celebrate Miri's 8th birthday. (Miri is my Gran's niece - she likes to play Jenga with me).
My cousin Annie came too! We both had our dinner together.

After our dinner we decided to have a bath together!! Our Daddys & Mummys were very excited!! We were too!! - We even held hands while we got undressed!

My 1st Birthday Party!

I had my 1st birthday party at the Eltham North Reserve, at the Adventure playground on Sunday.

My cousin Annika - she looked so pretty, her Mummy dressed her up in a very pretty dress!

I had blue & silver balloons at my party - they each had a noodle box filled with lollies attached to them so they didn't fly away! - I loved the balloons!!

On the day of my party I woke up at 5am (I usually wake up at 7am) and I only had a very short half an hour nap in the morning (I usually have a 2 hour nap). I was so excited about my party! My Mummy warned me that I would be tired at my party... she was right! I managed to stay awake to have everyone sing happy birthday to me and eat my cake, but after that I couldn't keep my eyes open!!

My Aunties , Uncles, cousin, Grandparents & Great grandad came to my place afterwards to watch me open my presents . I got this very cool telephone from my Aunty Amanda , Uncle Andy & cousin Annie!

My Kau Fu & Kau Moe ( Uncle Jon & Aunty Bek) gave me an electric guitar and a ninja sword ! Using my new telephone to call up all my friends to say thank you for all my presents!!
